Wonderful vintage look projects with clear instructions and beautiful photographs. A great, project packed book. Good value too.

Darlene Zimmerman does it again! A wonderful book! Great projects, easy to follow instructions and fabulous pictures. This is one of my new favorites.

This was a good book. I like easy instructions, and once I caught onto Darlene Zimmerman's method of cutting larger for the bias corner pieces, then trimming, it was easy to follow. I made the Almost a Flower Garden. I like it, my husband likes it, and the machine quilter liked it. We are all happy. I am now contemplating using her version of the Pineapple quilt, for my next project. I did not use Depression Era fabrics. I hope that those who use the book realize that they don't have to use the 1930's fabrics to get great results.

I usually find that whenever I purchase a book such as this there will be one, maybe two, projects that strike my fancy and would like to try and the rest is just a waste. Not so with this one! I really do not know which one to start first. I shared it with my daughter who fell in love with it as well so I'm thinkin'...........Christmas present?.......Birthday present?..........."Just because" present??

This book arrived from a shop which is an old friend. It arrived much faster than expected and wrapped securely to protect the book. It provides patterns which will allow me to use some fabric in my collection.

Granny Quilt book by Darlene Zimmerman is very helpful for a beginning quilter, as well as those already familiar with some quilting techniques.
