possibly the best Gogi Grant recording this side of "The Helen Morgan Story"!!! The quality of this recording is exceptional and her voice at it's best. These arrangements are far superior than"Welcome to my Heart" or "Torch Time", although that cd has some gems in particular the complete lyrics to "My Man" of which few artists have tackled. That's worth that entire cd. On "Granted It's Gogi" she glides comfortably from one song to another like she's home at last with the exceptional arrangements of Johnny Mandel conducting. His arranging and conducting and her phrasing and voice quality on"By Myself" is only outdone by the great Judy Garland.

I think this is Gogi's best work on RCA, an album full of surprises, shifts in moods, wonderful vocals, great orchestrations. Well-known songs, not-so-well-known songs and "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"
