Fabulous Book!!!,
By Jennifer Marshall (Portland, Oregon) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Granton Manor (Paperback)
I just finished reading this novel and I loved it! I especially enjoyed the relationship between the mother and daughter. The way they interacted and evolved through the story reminded me of the relationship between myself and my daughter. The author's style of writing is perfect for the theme of the book and I look forward to reading more of her novels.

I loved this book and could not put it down. The characters were people I wanted to know better. The quick turns of plot kept me me reading fast and furiously. I look forward to Robena's next book - this is an amazing first effort!

Smooth reading! The author's particular attention to detail immediately hooks you into the daily lives of those who occupy Granton Manor. You can easily visualize being there and experiencing the little power plays that go on between the occupants. I enjoyed watching the "secret" unfold.

A Wonderful Read,

Ms. Schaerf's story was amazing. I have never been to Scotland, but now have a desire to go. The descriptions of both setting and character were magical. I enjoyed that there were several romances throughout the story as it kept me turning the pages. I look forward to reading her next novel.
