Product Description

Size: 100

Grape Seed Extract is one of the most powerful antioxidants and free radical scavengers known. It is roughly 20 times more powerful than vitamin C and 50 times more powerful than vitamin E with respect to its antioxidant properties. The active ingredients in Grape Seed Extract also enhance the effectiveness of the other antioxidants such as vitamin C, selenium, vitamin E and beta carotene. Olympian Labs Grape Seed Extract, through a low temperature water extraction method, is completely water soluble and free of dangerous solvents and food coloring additives. Water solubility means bioavailability. It is easily absorbed into the bloodstream and has even been shown to cross the blood-brain barrier thus providing protection to the brain, its vessels and the entire central nervous system. Olympian Labs Grape Seed Extract contains three of the most active antioxidants in the polyphenol family Proanthocyanidin, Catechol and Gallocatechol. The combination of these powerful antioxidants may effectively aid our bodies in resisting blood vessel and skin damage, reduce inflammation and counteract other damage caused by the daily bombardment of free radicals on our cells. An increasing number of diseases are now being related to free radical damage. Research studies on the use of Grape Seed Extract and its effect on the slowing of the aging process and in the relief of such conditions as cancer, heart disease, senility and inflammatory conditions are now being done.

5.0 out of 5 stars great product just don't order it from vitaminlife, February 22, 2010

Great product. We are in central america about to head to south america and the drinking water is a problem sometimes here. Gives you stomach considerations. But a few capsules of this and you feel better.
Just don't order it from VitaminLife as they will send you whatever they want whenever they get around to it - in multiple shipments - lie about items being backordered when they show it in stock - ignore your emails and then lie about what YOU did. Great stuff just get it somewhere else.

1.0 out of 5 stars DAB order, July 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This product is great. I use it for sinus allergies every day. Do not order it from DAB/direct super center either. They have held my money captive for almost a month now. I gave them lots of time to send the product and it never came. I finally got ahold of them and the guy said he would send it in the morning and I should have it real soon because I dont live that far from the distributor. A week later still no vitamins. I called to day and the lady says they are out of stock. It still doesnt say they are out of stock on Amazons website and I still have to wait for a shipping label to send them back a product I did not order at all. If they were out of stock, why didnt anybody just have the decency to tell me that and at least send the mailing label to me so I could have my money back? I am never ordering thru amazon again. These companies are all getting to be a bunch of crooks. They show these low prices just to draw you in and send you anything that is worth much less than what you ordered just so they make a bunch of extra money. If they dont send that shipping label soon I'm just goingt to contact my credit card company and dispute this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does it lower eye pressure?, February 11, 2011

I don't normally like to take pills but my interocular pressure has been steadily moving up. A year ago it was up to 22 to 24 mmHg in both eyes. A friend with glaucoma told me he thinks grape seed extract has helped him. I started taking it about 100 days ago and when I saw my doctor a few weeks ago my pressure was down to 16 in both eyes. This is right in the middle of the normal range. Did the grape seed extract cause this change? Who knows? But I plan to continue taking it. I haven't noticed any ill effects.
