Hello...I am John, a member of The Grapes of Wrath, and I'm here to clear up the confusion: Our band from Phoenix, Arizona predated Kevin's band by almost 30 years, and is not the Canadian band of the same name. The American Grapes have been active (and still are) in the studio and with live shows since 1965. The Canadian Grapes WERE indeed a GREAT band, but we were first :) (Note to Kevin: Best of luck on your new projects!)

The Grapes Of Wrath

This cd is absolutely awesome. If you like the music from the 60s, you will love the Grapes of Wrath!!

This group displays qualities of harmony, poetry and originality that should have been recognized long ago. What's the story? Are any of them still playing? Why haven't we heard more from them. The development of their style over the years would have been intriguing listening, maybe it is. Can this be explored?

I just got this album on a whim and I can't believe how good it is! Nice work gentlemen, I'm sorry you never got the credit you deserve for this album and I hope this can make up for it a little. Had been old enough I would have been hanging around your garage!! Cheers!

this cd is wonderful! it's one of the best 60's cd's that i have ever listened to! bamn diddy is my favourite! congratulations to the grapes of wrath!

Don't be fooled into thinking this was the incredible 80's band out of Canada. IT IS NOT. It is a sixties band out of Phoenix. AND IT SUCKS. (Mostly because I was expecting the 80's band based on the reviews). Shame on Amazon for letting reviews stay up that leads one to believe it was them. Unless you like poorly recorded late sixties music (it sounds like a bad LP) Don't bother. It would probably cost me more to return it at this point; wish I hadn't wasted the money!

This is a great band from KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA. Excellent album! Recommended!

What happened to the Grapes of Wrath from the 80s? Now that was a great band, but the band reflected on this album is a huge disappointment. They've lost sight of the soul and sounds they once had and traded it in for some Beatles-wanna-be music. Too bad. But I'll keep listening to their earlier music anyway.
