This review is from: Graphic 10 2nd print (Graphic Magazine) (Paperback)
This book is pretty fantastic. It is one thing to veiw and admire finished art and design works by great artists, but it is especially interesting to see what goes on in the minds' of these artists via their own diaries and notebooks. In this book you will find a large array of exerpts from the sketchbooks of designers and artists such as, Jon Bugerman, Tom Judd, Henrik Delehag and Faile to name a few. There are short interviews with all the artists that are a bit on the light side, but the real value of this book is in the artwork itself.
Especially interesting for those of us that keep personal sketchbooks and visual diaries. I found the range of work and styles contained extremely inspirational.
