The 2nd edition of Graphic Classics "Ambrose Bierce" is a welcome book. The additions fo "That Damned Thing", "The Monk and the Hangmans Daughter", and "Moxons' Master" turn this book into an even more compelling read. "Damned Thing" is an atmosphere laden tale in the vein of Universal Horror films. "Monk" digs deep into the psyche of a monk who falls in love while denying the very question that might save him. Love can manifest itself in strange ways. "Moxons Master" is strangely inspiring.
