About the Author
Dan Jolley has written for major comic book publishers such as Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse. His credits include Star Wars Tales for Dark Horse Comics and JLA: The Liberty Files. He is also the author of Odysseus: Escaping Poseidon's Curse, Vampire Hunt, and, with illustrator Matt Wendt, Escape from Pyramid X, The Time Travel Trap, and Alien Incident on Planet J.
Thomas Yeates's art training began in high school and continued at Utah State University and Sacramento State. Subsequently, he was a member of the first class at Joe Kubert's School, a trade program for aspiring comic book artists in New Jersey. Yeates has worked as an illustrator for DC Comics, Marvel, Dark Horse, and many other companies. For Graphic Myths and Legends, he illustrated King Arthur: Excalibur Unsheathed, Robin Hood: Outlaw of Sherwood Forest, and Atalanta: Race Against Destiny. Yeates lives in Northern California with his wife and daughter.

Cool graphic novel,

I teach students with learning disabilities. Some of my students struggle with reading, but are required to complete the same curriculum as their peers. This graphic novel is very helpful for students studying The Odyssey. The comic book style, colorful illustrations, and understandable text made it very appealing to my students. There is also a short index in the back that is helpful. I highly recommend this book!

I enjoyed this one, although Odysseus' story is enjoyable in any format. I hope this collection of Graphic Legends includes his arrival at Ithaca and his reclaiming of the throne. It is a story of courage, but it also has all the elements that we often find in the original Greek myths.
