Legrand and Grapelli are legends in music and this is a gift to all lovers of music.The standards here are served up like a gourmet meal.This is the closest thing in fact to being along the Seine,glass of champagne in one hand,a beautiful woman in the other and let your imagination provide the rest.The tone Grapelli achieved from his instrument is a wonderment,the complimentary shadings of Legrand and orchestra a musical love feast.Buy this,enjoy this,vive la musique,vive la Stephane.

GREAT CD! Amazing arrangements by Michel Legrand, beautifully performed. Great jazz violin by Grappelli. The creative "piano fills" by LeGrand are worth the price of the CD. When can we expect Volume !!?
