Product Description

Black fight shorts, ideal for submission wrestling and MMA. With a Spandex/Lycra flex panel running through the inside of the legs and groin, they stretch easily. These shorts are SUPER comfortable. With the stretch panel, they don't need to be as "baggy" to allow the same freedom of movement found in other fight shorts (though they are a bit more baggy than "everyday" board shorts on purpose).

They also have an internal drawstring, velcro closure on the front/fly and an elastic waistband. As with all of our shorts, they are not heavy material common to some swim suits and board shorts, but a light weight material for maximum comfort and flexibility. Made with fighting and working out in mind, everything about them was done with their primary purpose in mind.

The waist is ELASTIC but see our size chart for an accurate waist measurement before ordering. Also be sure to use your actual waist measurement, NOT your pants size to get the best fit.

These shorts are made of 80% polyester and 20% nylon. They are not "slick" (like 100% poly) nor "sticky" like a microfiber would be. These shorts are "blank" on the outside - no logo or embroidery.

I bought these for and use them to work out. I haven't had an issue with the velcro, and I like that there is a drawstring and velcro closure. I haven't swam in them yet, but I have been running, doing cardio and bicycle riding in them. One thing I like is that they are just black, no logo or marking. I also like that I am not constantly having to pull them up... that is a problem I often have with shorts. I have done as much as I can to test the flexibility in these shorts... and I have had no constriction or restriction!! I even bought a pair for my friend.

I bought these shorts because I started doing a Muy Thai class and because I wanted something like board shorts with a little bit more flex in them for when I did a run/swim/run workout.

The fit of the size was a little large. I run 32 in the waist and buy medium in most porducts, but this felt like a large in Nike basketball shorts. The velcro and the cord helped tighten them up, but if a strong current catches me, these boys start to slip slightly. This doesn't mean they are baggy, in fact more shorts I wear slipp a little on me, the one system these shorts have in place prevent them from slipping too far.

The material is perfect for my trail runs where I brush against lots of trees and boulders and they have yet to fade when I swim in a pool with them.

I would give these shorts a 4 star rating if the size was more inline with the industry standard of a medium and if they hadn't used polyester for the gusted crotch, it takes a little bit longer to dry than the rest of the shorts. Over all I was ver satified with my purchase and will be uying another pair of these shorts in the future.

I bought these shorts from their actual website. I bought 3 pairs and they fit great. I use them to exercise, swim, and bjj, which i just got into. They're very comfortable and extremely flexible. The Velcro looks good and I like it. They have excellent customer service. I emailed them about the sizes and got a reply from them in hours. I will make more purchases from them in the future.
