5.0 out of 5 stars Buy it, "grasp it", then don't drop it!, July 11, 2011

Along with the paperback book, it is a valuable asset in anyone's technical studies of the bible. Theology, divinity, or Sunday school student: The book is timely, rich in learning tools. You'll get a refresher taste of "English composition" but you will appreciate the historical context of the original translations and how the biblical audience understood and received the Scriptures in their day. For example: ever wonder why one book was to be "read" three times? (Colossians 4: 16, 17). Chaplain Donald Perry, Dallas TX

5.0 out of 5 stars Guide for understanding scripture, December 23, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This text gives you a five step procedure to exegete the Word of God. It is simple and will work for all of the bible. It is well written and easy to understand. I recommend you read this and then read Preaching God's Word which uses the same five step procedure to write sermons. Hispoetry: Christian poems inspired by the Holy Spirit
