Very pricey for what you get,

Well I've had an MM600 Black & Decker electric mower for a few months now and its served me very well, keeping the grass in check without sounding like a 747. Now however I decided the time had come to cut clean and not leave grass bits everywhere - time to buy the bag attachment.I'm quite disturbed at just how little you get for your money. Basically this is a nylon bag with three steel rods and a plastic clip which fits onto the side of the mower. Now call me cheap, but that's really not a lot for your money. I guess if I was feeling creative I could roll my own for much less, but hey! It was slightly tricky to assemble, but went together ok after a few minutes pushing and pulling, and it does fit on the MM600 quite well -- though the clip which holds the bag onto the grass exit is a little unconvincing and loose. I guess there's little choice if you need a grass bag for your B&D mower, but if you are feeling creative I would do this one yourself rather than paying up for their overpriced one. |
