Highly Impressive and Deeply Rooted,
By A Customer
This review is from: Grass Is Greener (Audio CD)
Hands down one of the finest bluegrass instrumental CDs ever made. There are plenty, but this one really digs deep to deliver the goods. The players speak for themselves on this disc as they dance along the border of traditional music and experimental improvisation providing fans of both the old and the new with an album full of foot stomping and head bobbing classics. If you like Bluegrass this CD may bring tears to your eyes.

If you like bluegrass, and instrumentals in particular, jump in and buy this CD. You will not be disappointed. Musicianship is stellar, and track choices are all bluegrass classics. Richard Greene has been playing fiddle for many years, and has as good a backup band as you could want trading superb breaks with each other. I also recommend Butch Baldassari's " "New Classics for Bluegrass Mandolin" for the same reasons.
