Liam Hearn's description of the different cultures in Japan during feudal Japan is very interesting. I'm looking forward to her future books.

I was anxious to get this so I could begin to read the second book, but I am very disappointed. This was listed as a paperback, and while it is "technically" a paperback, it is much smaller than any normal paperback that I have ever seen. It's more the size of a two year old's board book, or a regular sized envelope. Or twice the size of a cell phone, to give you some scale. That also means that the type set is really small. So, hoping I'll be able to read it, and I think that in the future, the fact that it's so tiny should be listed in the description. I know that the dimensions are given, but when I see "paperback" I guess I just thought it would be the size of a normal book, not six inches tall.

Excellent, love the entire series! This is a good book, probably the least in the series, but good none the less!

This is my favorite series of all time now.

I find it better than LOTR, Harry potter, and Twilight.


This series touched me in an amazing way. Please read it and lets make it a world wide HIT

Purchased this for a young man who enjoyed the series of books on the Otori. He loved it, said it was well written.
