Wow! I ordered this shoe in a wider 8.5 size which was on sale at the time. I have wide feet and often buy 8.5 shoes though I guess i have a 7.5-8 length. Buying wider or oversized shoes is usually okay because I like to let my feet stretch a lot since I walk miles and miles each day and spend a lot of time on my feet. Unfortunately, my overzealous shoe sizing habit proved unfit for Grasshoppers shoe brand. And the shoes are too big to even pretend they "fit".

These shoes are probably the truest fit I've ever purchased personally. Most shoes I buy online come in one width that doesn't match up with the amount of space I like to have. Ordering big usually doesn't negatively impact the overall comfort and fit of the shoe. Since I got them at a bargain price, I was expecting a commodity shoe without a lot of features. So I was pretty surprised once i took these shoes out of the box and tried them.

I'd never heard of grasshoppers but I'd like to mention that I was delighted to find that the 'Purefit' footbeds are made of blended compacted fibers that resemble recycled material. I can't say for certain what the 'Purefit' Footbed is made of but you get the point. Next is a removable quilted (and extremely cushy) insole with a non-slip liner. THESE SHOES FEEL LIKE HEAVEN! (I can tell even with them being too big.)

I seriously regret not getting my "proper" size since I ordered them next day and need new sneakers pretty badly. It's the weekend now, and... theres nothing I can do about it except wait til monday, or go buy some full-retail shoes downtown.

Their sizing is not a joke. So choose carefully. Dont try to overcompensate too much. (if you have trouble keeping your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer you might want to consider more spacious shoes) But while I prefer shoes slightly too big over having shoes that are too snug to promote proper circulation, (and having to send them back by mail for an exchange) going a size or half size up was just too much regarding grasshoppers brand. If you find that the size you need isn't on sale, just get it anyway. I thought I was being a smart shopper but now I'll either have to send these back :( or try and give them away to someone they'll fit.

I wear these to work (California) and they rock. Very comfy, go with everything casual, last a long time, washable, can't miss.

The size was just right. The color was just as it was in the images on Amazon. Since I got this pair, it's all I wear on weekends! I wish I could wear it all week to work!Comfy on the arc, cushioned behind the ankles, no squisshy toes. No need to wear socks even! I'm looking for another color so I can get another pair.

the shoe is very comfortable and looks nice without have to be the white keds! These were given to my Mom as a gift and she just loves them.

These grasshoppers are the most comfortable and durable shoes ever. I wear them almost everyday and never have hurting feet at the end of the day. I really am pleased with just about everything about them!

These are very nice shoes, however, they lack support -- arch support. I need orthotics to walk in these. The leather is nice and soft. A tie shoe (which this is) I think should have arch supports built in.

I love these shoes so much. I wear them everyday and don't even remember to take them off even when I'm relaxing on the couch. I simply forget that I have them on. I have always worn a 6 1/2, but started buying 7 due to my bunions, but the 6 1/2W fits my foot perfect. I used to buy a simular tennie in another brand and it was discontinued. Thanks Grasshopper!

This is the most comfortable sneaker I have found. It is a good fit from heel to toe, with lots of padding and support for your feet. The stretch fabric makes it comfy all day. Amazon had them in stock and at a good price. Will purchase again.

Got an email saying I wrote this glowing review for this product. I didn't. I don't know how to delete it so I am just changing it. These shoes could be comfortable but I wouldn't know. I have never even purchased a pair.
