Looks very nice in my kitchen and serves its purpose! One little note - the description does not tell you, and you cannot tell from the pictures, that there is a lot of glitter all of the magnet! I rubbed a lot of it off, but it doesn't look bad or anything - just unexpected!

I loved the idea of a magnet on our dishwasher because I got sick of people putting dirty dishes in over clean ones. This seemed like a pretty, useful item.Unfortunately, the pin set-up that holds the "clean/dirty" disk to the shell magnet does not spin well. When the dishwater would get opened, it would automatically revert to "clean". On top of that, the link broke off in less than a month, making this wasted money, which I hate. Don't bother. You'd be better off getting some kid's magnetic letters and spelling out "clean" or "dirty". It won't look as pretty, but it's cheaper and works better.

Every time I open the dishwasher door to add another dirty dish I have to reset the indicator, because it flips around to "clean." Likewise, every time I open the door to remove a clean dish, the indicator flips to "dirty." Defeats the purpose of the product. I bought this because it looked cuter than another brand I had used (plastic rotating dial on suction cup) which, although it wasn't as funky-cute as this one, worked much better.
