Grassy Knoll Witnesses Review,
By Mark Oakes (Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Grassy Knoll Witnesses: Who Shot JFK? (Paperback)
Harry's book shows folks like Posner & Bugliosi that "Eyewitness Evidence" especially cooberation, is still accepted in any courtroom in this country. When you have many witnesses seeing"Smoke from the Knoll" or that a shot came from there-creates doubt for any Juror at a trial.I am grateful for letting me use my Beverly Oliver Interview from my "Eyewitness Video(DVD)-Real JFK Facts" Part I, as her full Interview had never been published before-- This book is a great contribution towards showing what really happened in Dealy Plaza on 11/22/63--- Mark Oakes Producer/Resarcher---Eyewitness Videos parts-I,II&III & "On the Trail of the Mystery FBI Man"

Reasonable People Will Agree on This Book's Premise,
By
This review is from: The Grassy Knoll Witnesses: Who Shot JFK? (Paperback)
Yardham researched many relevant documents and interviewed many of the eyewitnesses to the JFK assassination himself. He focuses upon those who said there was activity in the area of the grassy knoll which is in front where President Kennedy was hit fatally. The official theory's categorical denial of any shot fired from anywhere outside the Texas School Book Depository Building (behind JFK) simply will not stand. A reasonable person reading this book will easily get the point laid out by Yardham. At least one shot was fired from the grassy knoll area. There witnesses were ordinary people with good eyesight and hearing who (in most cases) promptly told the authorities what they saw and heard - shots, puff of smoke, man running from area, etc. A bunch of famous people on the Warren Commission obviously substituted their judgment for that of these good witnesses. Understanding Yardham's premise is one key to understanding what really happened to JFK and our nation in 1963.

By now most people have figured out that the JFK assassination was a murder of John Kennedy by a domestic political conspiracy. They may not know all the details, but they know that Lyndon Johnson's Warren Commission was a fraud and a sham and that the American people have been lied to by their government and the mainstream media [NY Times for example] about the JFK assassination for 47 years now (2010 as I write).Harry Yardum is just like one of us - an average guy but with an incredible knowledge of the JFK assassination. And what he has done with this book is to assemble tons of eyewitness testimony that there was at least one shot coming from the Grassy Knoll, or the smell of gun power, or a flash of light, or suspicious activity up there. Obviously, looking at the Zapruder film, JFK is being murdered from the Grassy Knoll because his head snaps back and to the left. Note: your US government had that film for 12 years and NEVER SHOWED IT TO YOU. CIA assets like Henry Luce at Life Magazine had the Zapruder film for 12 years AND NEVER SHOWED IT TO YOU. The US government and its CIA assets in the MSM never showed it to you because you would know they were LYING about JFK's death if they did show it to you. American hero Robert Groden showed the ZAPRUDER FILM on national TV for the first time ever on Good Night America with Geraldo Rivera in 1975, a whopping 12 years after JFK's death. And now thanks to Harry Yardum we have this SUPER collection of eyewitness accounts and "earwitness" accounts of a shot on the Grassy Knoll. Example from Bill Newman: "As the car got directly in front of us a gunshot apparently from behind us hit the President on the side of his temple." And many other similar to that. This book has GOT to be on your coffee table. It is a great conversation piece with family and friends, but not lone nutters who think it is like garlic, holy water and a wooden stake.

Nice to have so many witnesses compiled in one book. Very disappointed in the incredibly poor proof reading before this was published. You would think that for such an expensive yet small book that there wouldn't be the Numerous spelling errors and wrong words used. Unbelievable.

There is clearly "Reasonable Doubt",
This review is from: The Grassy Knoll Witnesses: Who Shot JFK? (Paperback)
It is doubtful that Oswald would have made it though the preliminary hearing without the charges being dismissed. But even if he would have been railroaded that far, there never would have been 12 jurors, even in Texas, who would have convicted him. Even if Texas would have done that, a directed verdict would have easily been obtained, for national attention would have brought scorn to the state and city that killed John F. Kennedy.Remember. Dallas Texas killed Kennedy. ( where Johnson , Cabal et all were from) Not Wisconsin or Montana for example. Texas. Dallas Texas.

A Flawed Conclusion Based on Unreliable Testimony,
By
This review is from: The Grassy Knoll Witnesses: Who Shot JFK? (Paperback)
This book attempts to weave a scenerio of multiple gunman murdering President Kennedy around the ever-changing, evidence-challenged accounts given by Virgil "Ed" Hoffman--a deaf-mute that claimed years after the fact to have seen two gunmen firing at the Kennedy motorcade from behind the infamous stockade fence atop the grassy knoll. As with virtually all conspiracy-oriented versions, it lacks credibility or ANY supporting evidence. Hoffman's account never stood up to close scrutiny and it also didn't agree with other versions given by other conspiracy "witnesses." If one believes in "black dog man" then Hoffman's claims fall apart since the alleged "black dog" man was firing from behind the retaining wall. If one believes in "badge man" then Hoffman's claims fall apart since he never said he saw any police officer firing from behind the fence. If one believes in Robert Groden's assassin firing from a tree on the grassy knoll then Hoffman's account falls apart since Hoffman claimed that his gunman was BEHIND the stockade fence and not on the grassy knoll. If one believes Gordon Arnold's account of one of the assassins confronting him with a rifle on the grassy knoll then Hoffman's account falls apart since Hoffman claimed that both of his men fled behind the stockade fence and never crossed the fence. And it goes without saying, that if one believes the balistics or medical evidence then ALL claims by ALL conspiracy nuts concerning a grassy knoll gunman fall apart since there has NEVER emerged ANY medical or balistics evidence to support the endless and always contradictory claims made by conspiracy "witnesses." A little research into the various "stories" told by Ed Hoffman (summarized very well in Vincent Bugliosi's "Reclaiming History")will cause serious scholars to have a very difficult time believing ANYTHING written in "The Grassy Knoll Witnesses: Who Shot JFK?"I would only recommend this book to the most gullible of the gullible conspiracy believers. Serious historians will have a hard time getting through its evidence-free allegations without laughing. |
