5.0 out of 5 stars Hands down, the best reggae the Pacific has to offer..., March 4, 2001

If you're ready to experience a complete, well-produced, gifted artist performing some of the best reggae and Hawaiian music availible today, then you're ready for George Veikoso, aka Fiji. I used to believe that no good reggae had been made since Black Uhuru, but this album proved me wrong. Musically, Fiji has the exquisite vocal range and talent, combined with the dopest beats and mood-altering grooves to even make it (small-time) here on the mainland. However, the Hawaiian/Polynesian joints take me back to the islands quick-style. An essential for island locals, reggae lovers, and haoles missing their island paradise (like myself).

If you love island music all FIJI albums are a must! I found this album "Gratitude", "Evolution " and "Born and raised " for under $30 each, used but in mint condition. These 3 albums seams to be more rare and more. Expensive etthan the later ones. I saw born and raised. CD going for over $100 used!! From other. Sellers :-(

This is a great island mix. It is just right for parties or just something to play when you want to listen to something that makes your feel good. Buy it. It will be one of your favorites. But be careful, it's so popular, it's hard to get and your freinds might be tempted to swipe it!
