4.0 out of 5 stars A volume well deserved, November 16, 2011
This review is from: Gravitation and Geometry: A Volume in Honour of Ivor Robinson (Monographs and Textbooks in Physical Science Lecture Notes) (Hardcover)
I was taught algebra by Ivor's wife Ivana, during my undergrad years, and tutored by some of his grad students during my calculus days. I kept hearing about his work and our math professor recommended that I read some of it, so naturally I read this volume. Which is why "it is therefore painfully obvious that the following is the case" brilliant. God, I hope an Oxford professor doesn't want to flunk me because I just wrote that statement. God forbid.
