I am in awe of the splender of this album. The lyrics & production quality. THE BEST music purchased this year. You wont be disapointed.

I discovered Artemis through the Magnatune website and was immediately drawn in by the first track. The album is cohesive, a non-stop dreamy trip hop through sound and time. Unlike some "trance" music, this album has a lot of body and substance. You can envision it as a soundtrack to some really good animated Japanese manga, or maybe a gritty foreign film. It is both ethereal and gripping. The singer at times reminds me of Bjork, in a really accessible way.

This is music to seduce to, a soundtrack for martinis and curling tendrils of smoke, sophisticated and smooth. Put this one on the next time you need background music that won't overwhelm while still setting a fabulous mood.

Frankly at this price it's worth giving the album a try, whether you're a seasoned Trance/Mood fan or this is your first journey into the ether.
