This shoe is heavy and bulky and it takes time to get used to. I run on a treadmill and am used to light weight shoes. I never thought these were so heavy. I wanted to give them a chance but after months I just gave up. Your heel goes down before it springs up and that just does not feel right when you are running. I ended up with tired legs and much less intense workouts.

I wear these for when I walk my dog through the hills. Very comfortable and gives my alot of support. The mesh material is ideal because I have wide feet and my right is even wider so its nice to find a shoe that doesn't restrict me.

Fits true to size. Very comfortable. I work all day on a concrete floor and these sneakers relieve a lot of knee and heel pain.

I was really disappointed. The shoe doesn't feel any different than a regular "sneaker". There's no added spring or comfort, no energizer effect. Nothing. I wore them at Disney World thinking that they would be good on all that pavement. They weren't. They weren't bad, just not better and they were supposed to be. And it was not inexpensive.

At first I liked these shoes -- they were comfortable and seemed to help me improve my posture. Plus I liked how they look. Three months later, after regular wear, they are falling apart and looking mighty shabby indeed. The rubber parts are coming unglued and the pad feels hard as a rock. Poor investment IMO.

Great looking shoe. Disappointed that it did not come in Narrow. Had to return it for that reason. Would have loved it otherwise. Good service from the company that makes it though.

I have a knee problem. I wear these shoes every day for walking, playing with dogs, doing things around the house. My pain has decreased noticeably in the last few months since i got them. iIt may be time (maybe the knee problem is healing itself), it may be medication I'm taking, so I can't say for sure. But there's a clear improvement.

There was an awful lot of hype about these shoes, the unique construction they had, and the Lourdes-like healing effect they had on people. I was one of those jaded people, sure that there was no miracle shoe. As with other reviewers, I had foot, knee, and hip pain, and had to stop regular walking (pretty much my only form of exercise). I've had all of the great padded sneakers and walking shoes, used neoprene and gel inserts, to no avail. Reviewers were saying astonishing things about these sneakers, though. I didn't like their shipping and return policy, especially for expensive shoes, but gave it a shot. As soon as I put them on I noticed how springy they were (this is probably because they have springs in them). I couldn't believe how easy--and painless--it was to walk, even for sustained periods of time. I wear them all the time, even around the house when I typically used to go barefoot or in wool socks. You need to look at the cutaway illustration to see how they're constructed. I thought it was hype, but boy does they work. My feet, ankles, knees, and hips do not hurt now when I walk. I can stand for long periods of time. The only two "negative" things I can say about them is that they're just, well, really ugly. I got the tamest color scheme they had, but it's white and blue with gradations of grey and also some pale brown with stripes and logos... has a large-ish mesh inner body construction overlaid with a plastic fine mesh. Functional? Undoubtedly. Attractive? Not remotely. If you go to their site and look at their other shoes, they're not particularly attractive either. The other "issue" with it (not bad, just noticeable) is that, as a consequence of that magnificent heel construction, these suckers bump you up 1-2 inches in height. I'm STILL surprised every evening when I step out of them and am stepping significantly DOWN. It doesn't bother me, it just feels strange. If you're really tall and self-conscious about it, keep this in mind. Bottom line, though, these shoes truly are miraculous, and the only shoes I've ever had that have lived up to the well-deserved hype. And trust me--I'm one of the most jaded, skeptical, anti-hype persons you'd ever meet.

I have chronic back pain. These shoes are incredibly cushioned and comfortable. They are my go to footwear if I am going to do a lot of walking. I am planning to get another pair.

I bought these shoes because I have plantar fasciitis. I was hoping for the heel of these shoes to offer relief from the pain centers in my heel. The shoes gave me the most intense heel pain ever. Not sure if my pair was defective or just a bad fit for me. I had to send the shoes back. What a disappointment! For women with plantar fasciitis I recommend New Balance shoes. Hope this review helps you select the best shoe for you.
