buyers beware,
By Laura (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Inversion Swing (only) (Health and Beauty)
Please beware that the Inversion Swing pictured is not what you actually get. What you see are actually two different items, the Inversion Swing and the Door Gym. I purchased Inversion Swing thinking I was getting the swing which would clamp onto my doorway. Instead I received just the bottom half of the swing with two giant eye hooks meant for screwing it into the ceiling. I don't have anywhere to screw this item in, and I did not want unsightly eyehooks permanantly screwed into the ceiling so I contacted the owner of Gravity Plus.
He acknowledged that the photograph was misrepresentative and yet still wanted me to pay for the Door Gym. In the end I paid because I wanted the Swing to be functional. When the Door Gym arrived, I found the assembly instructions to be vague. It didn't help that there was a small defect on one part that made it impossible for one of the four screws to go through without some filing and super human strength. I finally got the thing assembled. It seems sturdy. I can hang from it now, but haven't been doing long enough to tell you if it is helping with the back pain. I have waited a month to write this review to see if the owner would write a more honest description of his product, but he has not.

I like this inversion sling,
By Katie W "Katie W" (Seattle, WA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Inversion Swing (only) (Health and Beauty)
I have scoliosis (curved spine)and find that hanging from an inversion sling evens the hips, then lengthens the spine in correct alignment. This particular one is very comfortable to use, and I have owned it for over a year. I have tried others, which are not as well padded or sturdy, although the function is the same. I chose to hang the sling from the ceiling, using sturdy eye hooks in a 2 x 6 plank mounted to the ceiling. I purchased chain to lengthen the straps, and used quick links to connect everything.
Using this inversion sling daily, along with a well-designed yoga practice, and attention to posture, has done wonders for my back, and I am now pain-free. Everyone is different, and I would advise: first seek medical clearance to hang upside down, then find a qualified Iyengar trained yoga teacher, to learn appropriate use of this sling, and other yoga poses to help your condition. I experienced positive customer service, and would buy from this seller again.

Best inversion Swing, Gravity Plus is great.,

This review is from: Inversion Swing (only) (Health and Beauty)
I order this swing back in 2007. It is by far the best inversion swing out there. I have been very happy with it and it has really helped my back. Gravity Plus has been very helpful. They shipped it out very fast and it packed very nice. It is now 2009 and I ran into a problem with my swing. I called Gravity Plus and they were so kind and told me to send the swing to them and they would fix. They told me they could not fix it they would send me a new one. I wish all companies were as great as Gravity Plus. If you are thinking of getting this swing, it is well worth the money!
