Sara Bareilles's "Gravity" is a musical miracle,

I accidentally watched the video of Sara Bareilles performing her song, "Gravity," from the same-named album the other day. I was stunned at the quality of the musical composition, the piano styling, the voice and delivery of Ms. Bareilles. I bought the album on CD, added the MP3 version of her song, "Gravity," to my two computers and sent it around the world as a suggestion to a dozen friends to listen and then do as I did: buy the CD. The feedback I got from friends as disparately apart as Mexico, Cyprus and Israel was gratifying.
Ms. Bareilles is a gift to her listeners. Her story is improbable, while her success is most deserved. I look forward to listening to her for many years into the future, and to purchasing her other CDs. |
