Everybody and their brother can make ethernet cables nowadays. Compared to others, I would not purchase this one again, because it isn't very useable where it can be seen in a living area. It is bland-looking, grey cable, with a lot of black text printed all over it with its tech specs. So it's very industrial-looking and not something you want exposed.

The cable I received was exactly the one pictured. It came nicely packaged and sealed in plastic. For some reason I was thinking for $19.95 that this would be a top grade cable with plush connectors at the ends. It wasn't. It was just an ordinary Cat5 cable; nothing special. Aside from that, I am using it and happy to have one in the shorter length.
