5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, August 3, 2009

This review is from: Gray Rainbow Journey (Paperback)
I really enjoyed this book! It has everything I like in a great novel: some action, important
themes, some humor, suspense; and all told from the Native American perspective-- which is unique. I found myself really rooting for Dina, the main character, and hoping she made the right choices. I was even praising God for Uncle Donnie's healing! Needless to say this book really drew me in and I can't wait for the sequel!! I definitely recommend this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read for people interesting in Native Americans, September 22, 2009
This review is from: Gray Rainbow Journey (Paperback)
All Americans are immigrants (or their descendants). It's just that some of us have been here for over 10,000 years. The indigenous peoples of the Americas have cultures and ideas that are completely different to any other. This beautiful story is a wonderful way to learn the ways and struggles of contemporary Native Americans. This really opened my eyes to a culture I was previously unfamiliar with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating. Many Interesting Facets & Not Just for Native Americans, October 25, 2010
This author has many skills. Her feel for Native American culture and the characters in her book are very fascinating. I have only read the first 1/2 and find myself wanting to leave other work related serious reading, to finish it.

The author is quite a talent when she can create a desire to read and hook the reader.

I appreciated the respect and insights into our true Americans, sharing insights in a story that is also enjoyable and not mere facts.

The author is not known to me in any manner.
