They made a book?,

Never said it was a good book. If you or someone you know is a real die hard for this movie, that is someone who will admit to liking this movie, then the book might be for them.
As this is based on the final draft of the screen play I bought the book for the off chance it would have some of the scenes that ended on the cutting room floor, it does, is anything big missing from the film? Not really, there's Michael being shown where the bomb shelter is, a bit more to Michael learning how to ride his bike and getting his leather pants, Cool Rider's intro was a bit more stunt driven and the dialog in the classroom the day after was slightly different, you find out how Rhonda broke her nose, and there is a scene after the talent show that sort of blew the ending.
