A veggie powered adventure!,

This is a really high end documentary that chronicles the journey of two college juniors in their 1981 veggie-grease powered mercedes. The two students begin on the east coast and drive to california stopping along the way to interview environmentally minded celebrities like Morgan Freeman, Noam Chomsky, and Yoko Ono. Don't miss the funny interview with Tommy Chong (of cheech and chong fame).
The movie is really well shot and produced. The car itself, is a great character, often the focus of humorous interviews with other travelers and drivers the two encountered along the road. Greasy Rider is a good movie, it is interesting and funny, and provides a good education regarding grease-powered vehicles. |
