This is exactly what our family needed. I forgot how to play many of the games I played with my family and friends growing up. This book has them all and several I've never even heard of. Great Games has become a staple in our home, and the kids look forward to family night because we get to pull out "the book"!

This book is a great resource for any family. These days, too many families spend more time than they should in front of the television and too many kids spend hours playing video games. This book will help families reconnect with each other and bond. Plus, these games and activities make it easy to find fun things to do when your family gets together. Instead of searching the internet for games to do when you're together, all you'll need to do is flip through this book.

We received this book as a gift, and we simply couldn't be happier with what we've found inside! Our family has always loved playing games, so we were a bit skeptical that this would open new doors for us, but we've found tons of new twists and new games between the covers of this great book. Every family should own a copy - or two!

I have used this book several times and have loved all the games in it! There are a few familiar games with great new twists on how to play and how to make things a little more fun or challenging, along with new and exciting games. There are games for all ages and group sizes to play indoors or outdoors. I use this book when planning birthday parties, family reunions, church activities and even playing a game just as a family at home. I know that I will use this book time and time again and use it for years and years to come! It also makes a great gift for friends and family members!

It goes right along with eating dinner together and reading to your children: Playing Games. I believe in games! Over the years some of our best bonding time has been when we've played games together. I could go on and on about my game philosophy, but now I need to tell you that Great Games is the best game book I have seen. I plan to take it on road trips, to use it in the church children's classes I teach, to take it with me when I visit my children and grandchildren, to use it when I'm given an assignment for a family reunion, etc. etc. etc. It is an excellently written book that will be well used by my family through the years. Thank-you Matthew Toone for writing such a wonderful and useful book.

This book has a great collection of cheap fun games for families and/or any sized group. Great for parties, family nights, and social gatherings. Highly recommended.

This book is a gem. The book has so many games and activities for everyone. I have 2 boys and I am always looking for new and interesting things for my family to do...other than watching TV or play a video game. It is also a good reference for adult groups, church groups, teenagers, etc. Check it out. It is more than worth the money you pay to get it.

This book has been a great resource for our family and our homeschool group. There are 175 games divided into indoor and outdoor games. Each listing begins with how many people you need and what objects you need to play. (Things that we almost always have like balls, pencils, paper, cards, etcetera) The game descriptions are clear and concise and many games also include variations on the original game. We have had a great time learning new games and being reminded of games that I had long forgotten. This is a must-have resource for parents and teachers.

Some of our favorite subcategories include Outdoor and Active Games, Indoor and Quiet Games, Road Trip and Car Games, Sidewalk Games, Words and Numbers Games, Card Games, and Educational Games.

This book has a lot of great games for children of all ages. It's great for a rainy day when your kids tend to get bored and you need something to do.

This book is a great collection of games, both classic and new. It reminded me of the fun we used to have playing in the backyard as kids, bringing back memories I hadn't thought of in years. It has a very variety of games for all ages. All games are family-friendly and don't take any materials you won't already have lying around. This book has something for everyone and will give you lots of great ways to spend quality time together.
