Superb quality! Content was much better than I expected!
I was a little hesitant to get this book, because it's somewhat hard to find and nobody has reviewed it. I'm glad I did though, because it is everything I was hoping for and more! It is packed with typed transcripts and images of actual historical American documents, from Christopher columbus' letters to the King and Queen, up to Watergate. There are portraits and...

The book is nice looking but rather disappointing, inaccurate and incomplete in text. For example, it simply skips some parts of the Constitution without comment. At this point I do not know if this is true with reference to other documents. Furthermore, the authors make the following statement with regard to the Bill of Rights: "The First and Second Amendments became...

The book is nice looking but rather disappointing, inaccurate and incomplete in text. For example, it simply skips some parts of the Constitution without comment. At this point I do not know if this is true with reference to other documents. Furthermore, the authors make the following statement with regard to the Bill of Rights: "The First and Second Amendments became obsolete shortly after adoption." The press, citizens, NRA and Supreme Court, would disagree.

I was a little hesitant to get this book, because it's somewhat hard to find and nobody has reviewed it. I'm glad I did though, because it is everything I was hoping for and more! It is packed with typed transcripts and images of actual historical American documents, from Christopher columbus' letters to the King and Queen, up to Watergate. There are portraits and paintings to along with as well. The book's size and quality is perfect. Highly recommended.
