First Rate Fred,

Early Fred Astaire Recordings made with Phil (?) Reisman Ork. They are NOT soundtracks from his films, but are absolutely first-rate. Astaire's in great voice, orchestrations are witty and sparkling. Large selection of his early songs. I'm very critical of most of Fred's later recordings with varied jazz groups, but these are part of the wonderful Liberty Shop recordings made in the thirties most beautifully
re-transcribed.

Great Fred Astaire cd, makes me want to purchase everything I can find. Quality is good song selection great and over all a good buy.
