This is an extremely useful addition to any American history classroom. I have used it with my 7th and 8th grade students many times. A recent trend has been to encourage the use of primary sources. These speeches fit the bill and found that my middle school students enjoyed hearing the audio tape. This is a great book and worth every penny!
