Excellent American Song Teaching Material
This is an excellent book for Guitarists and Singers of all levels. There are songs of various genres, arranged and taught by America's finest guitar instructor, Mark Hanson. This is a valuable work. If you cannot find a book copy of this, it is now available in computer CD format. This gives you the ability to print out the songs you want, and extras for fellow...

Good for learning new tunes, but poor renditions of known tunes
I bought this book of music scores with lyrics and its accompanying CD. The book contained songs that I want to learn and I liked the idea that a CD with the book contained each tune in the book. However, I found the renditions of these tunes to be less than satisfactory. Granted, I am VERY particular. If what you want is to learn American favorite songs...

I bought this book of music scores with lyrics and its accompanying CD. The book contained songs that I want to learn and I liked the idea that a CD with the book contained each tune in the book.
However, I found the renditions of these tunes to be less than satisfactory. Granted, I am VERY particular. If what you want is to learn American favorite songs and to use the CD only for this, or if already know the tunes, you will enjoy this book.
