This book is perfect for "getting your toes wet" in the world of antique lamp collecting. It is filled with gorgeous full page pictures that really allow you to appreciate the craftsmanship of these old lamps. It only deals with the big 4- Tiffany, Duffner and Kimberly, Pairpoint, and Handel so it's easy to compare and contrast the different makers. It's not an exhaustive listing of every style made by each company, but it hits the highlights. Definitely worth the money and would make a great coffee table book!
