This coloring book was purchased for my 6 year old granddaughter who also picked it out. She loves it and the pictures aren't too hard, yet hard enough for grandma to want to color, too. It's fun and educational.

Dover Publlications offers a wide range of coloring books that have very detailed pictures. The prices are very reasonable.

Fantastic. These books are the best I have found to find pictures to use as templets or stencils for designs to paint on silk.

I originally bought this coloring book to use for an Australia unit I was doing in a K-1 class. Most of the students thought the pictures were too difficult, and I agree. A couple of the older girls (age 7) were fine with them, but they were some of my more advanced students. I would recommend this coloring book for ages 8 and up. As an adult, I also enjoyed coloring the pictures. The information about each fish that's included at the bottom of the page is great too. But once again, this information is best for older kids. Overall it's a great coloring book though!

I wish the pictures were printed on better quality paper. We were hoping for beautiful finished pictures. I purchased this for a very avid 7 year old colorer....he loves the images....we were disappointed that the colors bled thru the other side of the page ruining the other image! Very sad for us....he's the one who did a "test" and said I'm doing it very softly to see if it goes thru....We ere using basic kid friendly washable markers.
He resorted to crayons which works out ok, we really wanted the brightness of markers.

I have decided to save these either until I'm elderly or donate all these adult coloring books to a local nursing home.
I realized I am waaaaaaaaaaaay too artistic and have an extended amount of artistic talent to be using one of these.
I really don't know why I even bothered to buy 'em. Suppose I was merely very bored that day. Hmmmmmmm.
