4.0 out of 5 stars This provides valuable information and time table
This title and all of TRavelBrains software is excellent for learning and as an educational tool. It is not a "Movie" to watch and eat popcorn to. It allows the viewer to visualize the battles in sequence and the ability to stop at any point and look into other references about a specific moment. It is not a game or a replcement for inquisitive thought.

The effeminate, grade-D narrator of this history lesson is enough for you to long for Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off -- and it is a decidedly cursory look at the Civil War battles-- nothing more than you would see in any documentary. But where this program truly fails is in the "animation" department. You could get the same info. by looking at any map of one of...

The effeminate, grade-D narrator of this history lesson is enough for you to long for Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off -- and it is a decidedly cursory look at the Civil War battles-- nothing more than you would see in any documentary. But where this program truly fails is in the "animation" department. You could get the same info. by looking at any map of one of these battles. And if you readf a book, you wouldn;t have to listen to the annoying narrator! Not recommended.
