4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book for students still deciding, July 16, 2001

This review is from: Great Jobs for Biology Majors (Paperback)
I thought that this book had good explanations of the different careers that are available to biology majors. It explained the requirements of each job or field, and told you the experiences of an actual person who has that job. In addition to the career information, the first half of the book contains information about how to go about finding a job, creating resumes, and going on interviews. This book is a good value for students who are undecided about what they want to do with a biology degree.

4.0 out of 5 stars Helpful, yet not exactly the book I assumed it would be..., January 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am a highschool student interested in the field of biology, it is a subject I would like to major in. I purchased this book (kindle edition) expecting it to be a book listing many different careers in biology, with descriptions. Yet what It really ending up being was a little more than I assumed. It gives information on resumes, how to write them, job interviewing, and places where you can work- all in all, a little more in-depth than I wanted.

Although not exactly what I was looking for, it is still a helpful book if you are undecisive in which field you would like to pursue a career in. I have a feeling this book will proove more useful to me once I enter college.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for student choosing major, April 6, 2011
The book is really great. It tells the path that students should take to have biology as a major. There are also many stories of the successful people in the field and career options listed in the book. I also just realized that there are many careers related to biology and I can start to plan my future life. It is really helpful for students that are undecided which major to choose. Besides, I think other reviews also agree with me that this book is helpful.
