Just as I expected!!
No surprises. I expected this to be a great book to get some tasteful ideas for soloing, and I got them. The solos are all very well built and will definitely contribute to improving anyone's playing.

I have bought all of Dave Rubin/Hal Leonard books
Watch very carefully when you order a Hal Leonard book, especially the play along series....this particular one is not play along but when there is a CD enclosed, 2 or 3 have come thru, sealed in the original package and cd is defective! Right out of the package, the CD in one case would not play from track 62-68. Changed cd players, nothing......Luv Dave Rubin...this...

Changed cd players, nothing......Luv Dave Rubin...this review is not about his work but I have to give a poor on Hal Leonard who publish Dave Rubin's series and there are many, most of which I own. A Blues specialist, I give him 5 stars...for Hal Leonard, I give 1 star for poor quality control on their audio disks packaged in some of these books....I wrote Leonard and months later, no reply on THEIR problem.
