It's a shame this book is out of print as it is one of my favorite dessert cookbooks. Everything I've tried from it has been wonderful, and I always turn to it when I want to wow someone with a homemade cake or pie. The book is nicely organized--there are whole chapters dedicated to cheesecakes, cupcakes, pie crusts, and holiday baking. Highly recommended!

Being one who is learning how to put together a recipe and how to bake, this book is wonderful. It has all sorts of recipes that can be chosen from, one for everday of the year, I might say. And as a person who has come to like, very much, things baked with buttermilk, this book is a winner. It has many recipes that use the soured milk. The ingredients are easily obtainable, the directions are clearly written and the writing wonderful. Makes a person want to bake. Enjoy!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I've had this book since the 1990's and it has been one of my favorites. I have made many recipes from it and they were all delicious. I'm gluten-free now but luckily I have been able to convert some of the recipes.
