First Grader Loves It,

My first grade boy brought this book home from the school library and he is completely fascinated by it. The content and the pictures are right on par with what is of interest to them at this age - and I certainly learned something too. It isn't fluff and fantasy, it is a historic pictorial of what life was like (including weapons and castle toilets) but certainly nothing that should be viewed at as offensive or inappropriate. My only hesitation with giving it five stars is with the quality of illustrations and the searches that accompany the pages, sometimes they want you to find 31 cups, or 15 pies which are the size of crumb. But the 7 year old likes it which is important!

This book is great for kids and keeping them busy. Parents enjoy it too. My son has been to the library and checked out many of the other books in the Search Series.
