5.0 out of 5 stars Up on the Mountain Revisited and more good stuff!
I'm a big fan of Paul Burch, and have been looking forward to this release! Burch and the Waco Brothers play well off each other, it's an album that makes you want to jump up and down, all around. My favorite tracks are Up on the Mountain, Monterrey, and A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall.

3.0 out of 5 stars A combo meal
Burch=subtlety. Waco Brothers wanna be your sledgehammer. Some of it works, some of it doesn't...the looooong cover of a Dylan warhorse is totally unnecessary. Not a dream team - both are better apart, esp. Burch.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Like a Nudie suit with muddy boots.", April 27, 2012
This review is from: Great Chicago Fire (Audio CD)
"What do you get when you put the rabble rousing Chicagoans known to be fond of the drink in a studio with a Nashvilian known for his elegant country classicism? You get the 'Great Chicago Fire.' High energy, smooth with an edge."

What else could you want?

A recent studio recording that is in step with what one can expect from the Wacos. Check out what the Wacos are sounding like recently in the studio.
