I love this book. It is so fun. The illustrations are amazing. My son loves it and he never gets tired of it. We read it every night. In fact, his first word was "Kitty" and I'm pretty sure it was because of this book.

My 11 month old son has been obsessed with this book for several months now. We have no cats but he definitely knows what a "kitty" is now, and will bring the book over and over to both my husband and I and to anyone who comes to visit so that someone will read it to him. He especially likes the page when the kitty screams. I would recommend this book to anyone with a small baby.

The simple words describe the action on each page - short and easy for babies. The pictures tell an adorable story with a sweet ending - fun for toddlers.

"Kitty Up" is a charming and comforting book that delights tots and pleases their parents. It is a wonderful introduction to reading and the love of books.

I originally borrowed this book from the library when my daughter was 2 years old. She loved it then and wanted it read over and over. When we returned it she kept asking about it so we borrowed it again. She still kept asking about it when she turned 4 so we bought it from amazon and at 4 1/2 it's still one of her favorites. She loves that the dog and kitty are friends and how daring and curious the kitty is. There aren't many words (each sentence is usually two words long) but she just loves it...so many action words, great illustrations, sweet story.
