Book Description

August 30, 2005
Since the beginning of the world's history, there have been two supernatural powers contending for supremacy of the world: the one seeking to establish a kingdom built on laws of love and truth; the other, on the alaws of selfishness and deception. This warfare, involving the entire universe, touches every life. In fact, this earth has become the final battleground where the powers of evil and the powers of good have met to demonstrate, before humanity and the unseen intelligence of other worlds, whose right it is to rule the expanse of creation. These two contending powers are Christ and Satan; and the great and final battle, the battle to end all battles, is right now being fought before our very eyes. The Great Controversy unveils these two forces at work in human history and in the events that are soon to change the course of this world forever. The Bible Made Plain is a verse-by-verse study of nineteen of the most important subjects of Scripture, highlighting the truths of the greatest consequence of all living in these last days before Christ returns as King of kings and Lord of lords, the rightful ruler of earth and heaven.

4.0 out of 5 stars Life Changing, February 9, 2007
By
This review is from: Great Controversy & The Bible Made Plain, The (Paperback)
Do you remember being 8 years old and suddenly you find out that Santa Claus does not exist? Well before you get too worried, this book is not about Santa Claus. Instead, it has so much eye opening information about world and church history you will get that same feeling as you eagerly turn the pages. It begins with an introduction to the origin of sin and pans to modern times. It even delves into what were future events at the time of writing but have come to pass. This author was definitely inspired! This is deep reading. The depth of the historical data is astounding. However, the depth is necessary to bring the events of the controversy to a beautiful crescendo in the final chapters. Definitely a life changing read. Read this if current events in our world trouble you. You'll find that the Prince of Peace triumphs in the end and we win!

5.0 out of 5 stars Its True, December 30, 2008
This review is from: Great Controversy & The Bible Made Plain, The (Paperback)
This book encapsulates a panoramic view of life on earth, giving "military" information as to what the enemy's plans are for the human race. No one can dispute that there is a GREAT controversy between good and evil. The Bible is the manual given to us by God to help us be saved (B-basic/I-instructions/B-before/L-leaving/E-earth). This books clarifies all of this and is a total eye opener and well worth the read. Make some time for it.

This review is from: Great Controversy & The Bible Made Plain, The (Paperback)
This trash-book was writen in late XIX Century.I read it, here in Brazil. This book is a trash, disguised as a religion book. There's so many lies, frauds, absurds, calunies on this trash-book that I can't count them.
The prophecies of this trash-book are, an absurd. The World ruled by the Pope, the freedom's number one...
Another "prophecy" of this trash-book is spiritism becoming, a very strong and powerfull religion in USA.Today less than 0.2% of american are spirtualists...

This trash-book is good only for a fool, who believes in frauds and nonsense anti-catholic bigotry.
