Awesome crossword book for young kids!,

Terrific book for my 7 and 9 year olds. Just hard enough that they have to work a little, not too hard that they give up. And the book has only crosswords - no jumbles, fill in the blanks, and other puzzles that they don't want. Just perfect!

Great start on "real" crossword puzzles,

The puzzles in this book are just about right for my 11-year-old. While he needs some help from us on a few of the clues (for instance, filling in a part of the title of the song "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport", which was a little before his time), he can complete most of the puzzles on his own. The clues are well-written and often witty. Even if you aren't into crosswords, it's a great way to spend time with your child and lure them away from video games!

My 7-year old son just started to show interests in crosswords not long ago. So I bought him this book. He likes it very much. He can work out some of the words by himself. A lot of the words he needs help. But that is not a problem. He still had fun with it, especially that Mom and Dad can work with him together.
