this book had good pictures and a basic overview of the breed but if you're looking for something informative this isn't the book for you.

I purchased this book as a present for an adult thinking that, for the price, it would be a substantial book. Unfortunately, it was a small, thin book of pictures with not much real information for someone who has ever kept dogs before. Perhaps I should have realized this by the subtitle. At any rate, I felt the price was totally out of line. It was like a child's "first book of dogs" that you would find in an elementary library. Caveat emptor!
