David Ruffin's first 4 albums on Motown have been out of print for a long time. If there are any Motown fans out there, I urge you to buy this cd collection right now. Why? Because they only printed about 5000 of these 24 bit stereo remasters and when they are gone, the sharks will be selling them to you for 10 times the price that they are now. There are other sets available too from Hip O Select on line. David Ruffin was one of the true kings of soul and these recordings are arguably his very best work.

I really love these products that you have made it possible for me to purchase , i am a 1960's motown fan and i am sure that there are many people out there like me please keep these products available. also the older movies are also nice. thankyou

This set represents the first 4 David Ruffin albums released by Motown and long out-of-print. HipO Select has done an excellent remastering job. It's about time this man got his due for his solo work after leaving the Temptations. He could take any song and make it seem like it was written just for him. What a voice! He was The Great David Ruffin and these albums are a testament to his talent.

i really liked the album as it was and make no mistake mr magic david sounds as good as every but as a fan of his and his brother it would have been nice to see the song so soon we change, which is a monster hit which is overlooked, why i spent the hold time waiting on the tune becase being such a fan i bought it without looking at what was in it which i know was my fault but when vol. 2 came out and still no song i was enrsged what is it the prevents the song from being listed it's a great song i had to by the cd to hear it
