About the Author
Janet Groene and Gordon Groene are an award-winning writer-photographer team who spent more than 10 years as full-time wanderers. Their writings have appeared in Travel America, Family Motor Coaching, Encyclopedia Britannica, Camping Life, Trailer Life, Motorhome Life, and many other publications.

More About the Author
For ten years, Gordon and I were happily homeless, cruising the tropics in our sailboat in winter and roaming cooler climes in summer in our small motorhome. Thanks to our portable profession (I'm the writer; Gordon does our photography) we can live nowhere or anywhere. The only thing better than our worldwide travels is to relive them time and again through writing about them. My columns appear in Houseboat, Family Motor Coaching, Camping Life and South Florida Parenting magazines. You've seen my travel features in dozens of magazines and newspapers.
