= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

My friend bought this and I went over to play it I thought it would be fun but boy, was I terribley wrong. Where do I start, ok first the missions suck because almost half the game you hide behind boxes where your standing right next to the guard and your completly visible so that makes AI horrible. Next it might a little bit more better if they gave any clue where to go. besides those problems the crontrols are the worst. Example: xbox-"Press y to hit." Me-"Theres a sleeping guard I better hit him." Next thing you know your jumping and you wake him up and you fail and have to start all over.
Goods: nothing Bads: everything DON'T BUY THIS GAME!!!

Okay, but then again bad,

Some people will find the most of fun in this game. For me on the other hand, no. The graphics are quite impressive, but the controls are terrible. The levels are quite different, but the same thing. Find something, use it, keep it, get caught, run, die. It's hard, but I like a good challenge. Another bad thing about this game is that you can't get away punching a guard. If you puu punch one, all the other guards gang up on you and start shooting you. It's stupid. Then you use stealth. The stealth is good, but sometimes, very unrealistic. As an example, there's one part where to exit a part of a camp, you open a door that's right next to the guard. Then you crawl in front of him and he doesn't give any sign of paying attention. Either that guard is stupid, or the game wasn't planned correctly. I think it wasn't planned correctly. If you want a good stealth game, get Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. I own that and think it's great. But it is extremely different than The Great Escape. The movie is much, much better. Rent it, and if you like it, take a chance. I don't reccomend this game.

Awful - don't waste your money,

A good premise ruined by poor delivery. The game play is fairly easy and will probably bore you quickly. Each phase of the game has 3 parts: 1) avoid the bad guys, 2) grab someting, 3) get away from the bad guys (and sometimes shoot 'em). Fun for a couple of turns but not the entire game. It is good in making the player solve problem scenarios. But playing the game gets so annoying and repetitious you often forget it's supposed to be fun. If you think you might like it, rent it first. It really isn't on the level of interesting or good games offered on xbox. 2115|R32FZLZY72I8P9;2115|R3UBY5AJSGJEVU;2115|RP9DEPOOG0P7L;
