Love this book!,

This review is from: Great Film Scores (Piano Solo Songbook) (Paperback)
I love the sensitive editing of the works in this book. It isn't enough that the melody is great but the harmony has to be just right too. The balance between work in the right and left hands is a pleasure. The dotted eights and streaches put it into the intermediat range, but a late beginner might enjoy putting the work in just to play the peices. This is the book I am most likely to pick up at the end of a day from the boogie of Baby Elephent Walk to the beautiful Sparticus Love Theme. A real treasure trove of the best.

This is really an excellent book. Fairly easy to play, but nicely arranged. What makes this book extra special is the inclusion of several Nino Rota pieces that aren't usually available in other film music books. Another special piece you don't see much is Nicholas and Alexandra.
