This is not a book, its a "booklet"!,

I was horribly disappointed to receive this little booklet. Small, small pictures, soft cover, and looking and feeling exactly like a booklet. Smaller than many manuals you'd get with an item purchased.Having gotten beyond my initial reaction, I looked thru the pages. There are about a dozen assorted usable exercises. Most are common sense stuff and there are few "aha!" moments if any. Same with the stretching section which was most of what I wanted. Everything there is easily found and downloaded in articles commonly available. Again, nothing more than basics, basics, and more basics. There was one single "new" idea in the whole book. Had I paid $.99 I would have felt good. A booklet is valued at that. But not for its asking price.

oops, more of a pamphlet,

I bought this as a gift to go with a foam roller I also bought as a gift. Needless to say the foam roller is a piece of foam. I was hoping to spruce it up with a good exercise manual - so it would look more like an exercise tool and less like a piece of foam. For 9.95 I thought I had bought a book but this is more of a pamphlet that should come free with the roller. The pages are glossy, I guess that's why it's 9.95. My purpose in getting the gift was for the massage-after-hurting-yourself-exercising aspect but there's only a small section of that in the book. On the plus side, it's the one section that doesn't require so many different rollers.

Wow! This book covers it all when it comes to foam rollers; from strength training to balance and flexibility, as well as, a section on myofascial release. I also thought the pictures were clear and the instructions descriptive and to the point.
