More About the Author

M. Charlotte Wolf was born and raised in Germany, and has lived in the United States for almost twenty years. Her studies in those countries have resulted in a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Literature, Women's Studies, Instructional Technology) and an M.A. in German.

Charlotte's experience in translation includes working as a freelance translator and editor for twenty-five years. Most recently, she has held the position of Director of Translation at TransGerman, LLC, where she translated a collection of Bavarian folktales, a short story anthology, a children's book, among a number of other translation projects.

In her free time she likes writing poetry and reading in English and German. Other favorite past-times include yoga and meditation, movies (foreign, film noir, sci-fi), and hiking in the fabulous Rocky Mountains with her family.

At present, Charlotte is researching a number of future translation and writing projects, among other things a collection of early to modern German crime stories and a biography about the life of her father, a German architect and designer who came of age during the turbulent and dark times of the 1930's and 40's.

Format: Paperback
The dual language feature is great, but these are some of the most tedious, boring stories I have ever read, in any language. Get something else for your German studies.
